The Respironics EverFlo filters are low maintenance. It can be used for 6-12 months , however advisable for 6 months - if the machine is in continuous use.

The purpose of humidification is to provide moisture which makes Oxygen therapy comfortable; if not used, can cause dryness in the airways of the nose and throat. Usually, the use of a humidifier is recommended in a continuous flow of more than 2 LPM.
FOR HOW MANY HOURS CAN I USE THIS MACHINE?
It can be used 24X 7 with 5 to 10 minutes gaps after 3 to 4 hours so that a heating problem does not arise.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD WE CHANGE THE FILTER?
The filter can be changed any time after usage of 2500 hrs but before 4000 hrs for better purity and prolonged life.
DO I ALSO NEED TO KEEP AN OXYGEN CYLINDER AT HOME IF I AM USING A CONCENTRATOR?
It is recommended to keep an Oxygen cylinder as a backup source. In case of emergency
