FAQs

How do I use my Philips Home nebulizer?

Make sure mist is visibly coming from the mouthpiece or mask. If using a mask place securely in position over the nose and mouth and breathe slowly in and out through the mouth.
nebulizer won't mist properly if there is a clog. ... Nebulizers can sometimes have bacterial buildup from normal use, particularly if during bouts of bronchitis or other possible bacterial conditions. Because of this, masks and tubing should be frequently sterilized and changed out for more than just preventing clogs.
The filter must be replaced immediately if it gets wet or becomes clogged. A good rule to follow is to replace your filter every 6 months.
Do not use nebulizer masks longer than recommended, even if they seem fine. Some accessories, like disposable masks, are meant to be thrown away after 5 to 7 uses, while regular child and adult nebulizer masks are meant to be used for up to 6 months.
