Description

The SP80B Color Display Spirometer is a compact, handheld device designed for comprehensive pulmonary function testing. Utilizing infrared signal acquisition, it accurately measures key respiratory parameters such as Forced Vital Capacity (FVC), Forced Expiratory Volume in one second (FEV1), FEV1/FVC ratio, Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF), and Forced Expiratory Flows at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 25–75% of FVC. These measurements are essential for diagnosing and monitoring conditions like asthma, chronic bronchitis, and other obstructive or restrictive lung diseases.​

The SP80B features a 2.8-inch color TFT display that presents real-time flow-volume and volume-time graphs, allowing for immediate visual assessment of lung function. It supports both Bluetooth and USB connectivity, enabling seamless data transfer to PCs for further analysis or record-keeping. The device can store up to 9,999 test records, making it suitable for use in hospitals, clinics, and for personal health monitoring. User information such as height, age, and sex can be input to ensure personalized and accurate assessments.​

Designed with user convenience in mind, the SP80B operates with a simple one-button measurement process. It includes features like a real-time clock, battery power indicator, and an automatic shutdown function after two minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
