The CONTEC TLC5000 Dynamic ECG System is an advanced, portable 12-lead, 24-hour ECG Holter monitoring system designed for continuous recording and detailed analysis of the heart's electrical activity during daily activities.
Unlike conventional ECG machines that record cardiac activity for a short period, the TLC5000 can continuously capture ECG signals for up to 24 hours, helping healthcare professionals identify intermittent cardiac rhythm abnormalities that may not appear during a routine ECG examination.
The system consists of a lightweight, battery-operated ECG recorder, compatible electrode cables, and dedicated PC analysis software for reviewing and interpreting the recorded information.
Advanced 12-Lead ECG Recording
The CONTEC TLC5000 uses a standard 12-lead ECG configuration to record cardiac electrical activity throughout the monitoring period.
Its simultaneous multi-lead analysis allows healthcare professionals to examine ECG waveforms from different perspectives and select an appropriate primary analysis channel for reviewing QRS complexes and cardiac rhythm patterns.
Comprehensive Cardiac Analysis
The included ECG analysis software supports automated rhythm classification and detailed review of recorded ECG data.
It provides analysis templates for abnormalities such as premature atrial contractions, premature ventricular contractions, prolonged intervals, and atrial fibrillation.
Additional analytical capabilities include heart rate variability (HRV), ST-segment analysis, pacemaker rhythm assessment, QT dispersion, and other specialised parameters supported by the software configuration.
These functions can assist cardiologists in evaluating palpitations, suspected arrhythmias, unexplained intermittent symptoms, and other cardiac concerns.
Convenient PC-Based Data Management
After recording, the stored ECG data can be transferred to a compatible computer using the USB interface.
The PC analysis software allows healthcare professionals to review single-lead or multi-lead ECG waveforms, examine recorded events, manage patient information, and generate detailed reports.
The system also provides report-printing functionality for convenient documentation and follow-up assessment.
