The CONTEC CMS50D1-Pro Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is an advanced, compact, and portable digital medical device designed to measure blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), pulse rate (PR), and perfusion index (PI, where supported). Featuring a large colour display and real-time pulse waveform monitoring, this fingertip oximeter provides convenient oxygen saturation assessment for homecare, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
Equipped with advanced photoelectric oxyhemoglobin detection technology, the CMS50D1-Pro measures peripheral oxygen saturation and pulse rate non-invasively through the fingertip.
Its 1.3-inch colour display with 240 × 240 pixel resolution provides clear numerical readings of SpO₂ and pulse rate, along with a pulse-strength bar graph and plethysmographic waveform. These features help users view important monitoring information conveniently.
The device supports a SpO₂ measurement range of 0–100% and a pulse rate range of 30–250 beats per minute (BPM). Within the 70–100% SpO₂ range, its specified accuracy is ±2 percentage points under appropriate operating conditions.
The CMS50D1-Pro also supports Perfusion Index (PI) monitoring on applicable configurations. PI indicates the relative strength of the pulsatile blood flow detected at the finger sensor, providing additional context about signal strength and peripheral perfusion.
The pulse waveform display provides a visual representation of the detected pulse signal, while the pulse-strength bar graph makes it easier to assess the strength of the measured pulse.
Designed for convenient everyday operation, the oximeter features adjustable screen brightness, automatic standby, and a low-battery warning indicator. Supported configurations also feature automatic screen orientation for convenient viewing from different directions.
Powered by two AAA alkaline batteries, the device offers at least 20 hours of continuous operation under the manufacturer's specified conditions.
Its lightweight fingertip design makes it practical for patients who require occasional oxygen saturation checks, healthcare professionals performing routine assessments, and caregivers monitoring patients according to medical advice.
