Description

The Choicemmed MD300C29 Pulse Oximeter is a small, lightweight device that is used to monitor the amount of oxygen carried in the body. This is a noninvasive tool that can be easily attached to your fingertip, to check your pulse rate and the oxygen level in your body. Once the oximeter finishes its assessment, the oxygen percentage in your body is displayed on the LCD screen. Your SpO2 reading is an estimation of the amount of oxygen in your blood. The highly accurate device checks pulse and SpO2 blood oxygen saturation levels. The Choicemmed MD300C29 Pulse Oximeter is meant for home as well as for professional medical usage. It is used by sports professionals and athletes to monitor their SpO2 levels and pulse. A SpO2 reading of 95% or greater is considered normal, however, a SpO2 reading of 92% or less shows poor blood saturation levels. Insufficient saturation is an indication of adverse health conditions like shortness of breath, chest pain, and increased heart rate. It has a Pulse Rate Measurement Range of 30-235 BPM and Pulse Rate Resolution of 1 BPM. The Choicemmed MD300C29 Pulse Oximeter is very compact and easy to carry around while on the move. The Choicemmed MD300C29 Pulse Oximeter uses 2 batteries which last for a long time.

FAQs

What is normal reading on pulse oximeter?

A normal level of oxygen is usually 95% or higher. Some people with chronic lung disease or sleep apnea can have normal levels around 90%. The “SpO2” reading on a pulse oximeter shows the percentage of oxygen in someone's blood. If your home SpO2 reading is lower than 95%, call your health care provider.
It shows two important readings: the pulse rate, recorded as beats per minute and the oxygen saturation of haemoglobin in arterial blood.
In situations where the patient's peripheral circulation is sluggish, such as in peripheral shutdown due to shock, or local hypothermia, the pulse oximeter may not be able to detect pulsatile movement. This may result in no readings or erroneous readings being produced.
Put the probe on your own finger and check it is working! Oximeters need a flow of blood through the finger to function. Some oximeters give an indication of the blood flow detected. In this oximeter there is a scale which is an indication of the blood flow.
